If you're playing lower-level sit-and-go tournaments you're familiar with the all-in player. This guy only has one move when he bets, and throws caution to the wind when he plays. The money is obviously not important, and they've developed an attitude that the best way to win is to double through a couple times early in the tournament, and force the aggression for the rest of the tournament from there.

As important as it is be aggressive in a sit-and-go tournament, it's still not wise to risk your entire stack to steal a pot. Pots can be stolen for smaller bets, and if you make a mistake and bet into the wrong player you'll get crippled or knocked out. But for some guys the act of putting it all-in gives them a rush or something.

To beat the all-in player all you have to do is wait for a situation where you have him dominated. Then get your chips in there after he makes his stupid bet. Sometimes a false tell that makes you look weak can be all it takes for him to shove his chips in to try to steal the pot. You won't win all of them, but you have to get those chips in there when you have a dominant situation. If he sucks out, he sucks out. You did everything you could do.
